Overview

NFU Mutual, winner of the 2015 Which? Award for Best Insurance Services Provider, has been a trusted UK insurer for over 100 years. With more than 300 offices and 5,000 staff and agents across the UK, it underwrites over £1 billion in annual life and general insurance lines.

Producing multiple reports, policy documents, newsletters, posters and postcards on a daily basis, NFU were looking for a way to streamline production and ensure a consistent brand message.They found that individual departments within the organisation were creating their own brand comms using local software, and this was leading to brand inconsistency and dilution of brand message. They also wanted to centralise their marketing resources, which were often stored locally, compounding the problem.

When NFU heard about Libris’ BrandingManager and DAM systems, they were excited at the possibility of bringing this all into line. Their clear aim was to get the multiple departments that were each producing their own comms to access the same resources and deliver the same message.

Introducing Libris to NFU Mutual

NFU Mutual launched their Libris BrandingManager system to coincide with the launch of new internal brand guidelines, and it brought them significant benefits to have this tech available at the same time as new content was being created.

NFU maintain 10 sub-brands, all with different colourways, and produce a wide range of materials within each one. By introducing the Libris BrandingManager and DAM systems, they were able to speed up every stage of producing new collateral from finding the right logo or template to creating internal comms materials and the instant generation of print-ready or emailable PDFs.
